CartilazeTM non-surgical ear reshaping technique is the name given a patented technology useful in reshaping an ear. If someone’s ear “sticks out” or is misshapen, the CartilazeTM technique can be used to adjust the ear’s shape or positioning without the need for surgery such as otoplasty. For example, with the CartilazeTM technology, a physician can apply a painless laser to an ear for a set time, and set it with a stent to hold the ear in the desired position, to make the ear pliable to reshaping. After about six weeks, the ear permanently retains the desired shape and/or position, all without the need for surgery and its associated risks and costs.
